Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop

The fruit tree grafting workshop was delivered in partnership with Fruitworks, who guided participants through the full process of creating two grafted fruit trees. Attendees selected their preferred varieties and matching rootstocks before learning the precise techniques needed to make strong, successful grafts. Under expert supervision, each person completed two trees and took them home to grow on in their own gardens. The workshop combined practical skill‑building with an introduction to the value of preserving traditional fruit varieties, encouraging continued interest in community orcharding and heritage fruit trees.
